Really Helpful App

I started using this maybe 2 weeks ago. I love the fact that people are going through some of the same things I am. I love the Thoughts feature in helping to calm your irrational or anxious thoughts, and the Health feature for tracking sleep, eating, caffeine, exercise, etc habits. It helps in seeing how you can lead a more balanced life. I like the community threads as well to find and share music and books and experiences that will help. All in all a very cool app.

Almost Perfect, But...

I have been a member since September of 2015, and I have always loved being able to log my health and my goals and progress while having a community to talk to, but I still see the same problem every update. First, there is never a breathing technique for emergencies unless you pay for it. You also cant write journals which would be great to do to show my therapists and I hate thinking traps. Also, I never have seen a time where you can not have a limit to the amount of characters you use. I mean come on! If someone is in trouble I dont need to be told Ive exceeded my character limit. Other than this, you have a wonderful app with a nice community.

Helping me relax more worry less!

I love this App., my favorite is when it asks me how Im feeling and I love the relaxation exercises. Its been a saver in my times of need.

LOVE THIS APP

Honestly, this app is amazing. It has everything you would ever want. Mood tracking, thought tracking, goals, habit tracking, and an amazing community. However, the premium version is honestly too expensive :( like 3 dollars every month? All I want to do is add a "face wash" health goal....if it could be lowered to like $3.99 one time payment it would definitely be an investment I would make

Fantastic place to express, discuss and support each other with mental illness(es)

I downloaded, logged in and looked at the interface of the app. It was clean and easy to navigate. There are a variety of groups specified for certain mental/physical ailments, even some hobby relation groups and medication discussion groups. These groups are very helpful to all kinds of people. People can be comfortable and honest. The anonymity helps people say what theyre afraid to say. And if anyone says negative things about themselves there are usually a few people in the chat group affirming and reaffirming them. Asking questions and giving suggestions, giving support and validating feelings and emotions. I think its also great to point out that a lot of the group chat users encourage everyone to keep going and keep fighting. They assure you things will get better. Everyone on this site is brave and helpful. There is so much empathy and positive energy passed around at any point. Ive heard some very sad stories on the app. If youre easily triggered it may be a good idea to use extreme caution which groups you join. (Though I find it helpful to read of other peoples struggle and survival.) The only thing I would change is adding a button when you cry, laugh out loud or get angry. Also if people who have bonded during conversation on this app want to keep closer contact I think it should be allowed. People need people. And a lot of us get attached easily. And feel loss harder than most. Anyway, great app. But I dont think you should pay for a bit of it. Profiting off of mental illness tools isnt ... Morally unsound in my opinion. Open it up and gain profit from donations. Thank you for this app.

Love this app

Every morning, I battle anxiety and Im becoming more & more dependent on this app to help me through it...each time, its been super helpful. Grateful to have it

Great app- Notifications Need to be fixed

This is a great app to express feelings and to find groups you find interesting or that you are interested in. But the notifications for the group do not pop up like they should and that needs to be fixed.

Do the exercises and dont give up

It made a huge difference for me

Has helped

Great for the Anxious

This app is great for people who have trouble with thought control and relaxation. The forums are great too you just have to make sure you find an active one. I wish I didnt have to pay to get the full package but thats business and what they give you for free is great as it is. I would recommend this for anyone trying to cope.

Amazing

Anyone who suffers from anxiety or depression this app is life changing. Completely worth subscribing even if you think it might be too much, its worth it. Tracking your mood and progress helps target triggers and focus on progress. All the activities especially the meditation exercises are extremely helpful. The thought journal really help when having having a panic or anxiety attack. I highly, highly recommend this app and truthfully it is worth the subscription.

Nice idea but

It has signed me out multiple times to the point that its just annoying to sign back in. The annoyance does not outweigh the benefits of this app so I deleted it.

Great app

I love Pacifica. The community is so nice and the activities are very helpful. Maybe in the community part, you could add a LGBT+ section for us to have a specific place to talk about sexuality.

Buggy, needs work.

This app would be more useful if it werent for the abundant small problems. As an example, information entered into the "Health" tab is frequently not saved to the apps memory, meaning you must re-enter it several times a day for EACH slider. Today I tried an activity from the "Relax" section, and not only did I find the audio program unhelpful, but once the countdown had reached 0:00, the app did nothing at all, and I was forced to quit the activity without receiving credit for its completion. With these problems and others affecting my experience, I will probably end up using Pacifica just for its mood tracker feature and nothing else. I certainly wouldnt consider a subscription to Pacifica Premium until these errors are corrected.

Really helps

It has helped me with my anxiety and depression, it also helps everything to be in order. Recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic!

Pacifica is a great app if you are struggling with anxiety or depression (or even just stress). I love tracking my mood and using the deep breathing relaxation tools. The developers have listened to feedback and improved the app over the last year.

please fix

its a great tool to use, but its getting really annoying with the fact that it wont update my "im feeling" because it wont let me press done and when i close the app and refresh it and come back, its still the same way. and it wont let me put the right time, when it used to work, i would put in the time, and then it would update it for the time it is now. honestly deleting the app. ill redownload when its not glitching all the time.

Very helpful

This app really helps you monitor your anxiety and has helped me better control it.
